My experience learning English at university

Hi my dear classmates and teacher,

My experience with the English that is taught at the university is somewhat varied. That is because the first year I had this course in other faculty, this was Faculty of Economics and Business, there the English program was focused on the business language and we practice that. The teacher was an old man who had a high school teaching, we could not arrive a little late and if for some reason we forgot the book, he would not let us get in the classroom, the man also used to make jokes with bullying, but despite this I learned a lot and learned something Business vocabulary.

Then, I took English 3 here in Faculty of Social Sciences. I do not learned very much in there; I think that is because my English level was a bit higher. The good thing is that my teacher was a very nice guy and you could see that he was trying hard to teach us things.

The next year I took English 4, it was a bad course, very boring, the only thing we did was writing on our blogs. I chose to delete the course.

This semester, I took English 4 again and I have enjoyed it a lot. We write the blog with fun topics and I have achieved improve my writing skills. Unlike the teacher of the last English 4, in here the teacher is very good and nice, she promotes conversation between students not just writing on blogs.

I believe that the English courses of the faculty need to include more practical activities besides writing the blog, although this helps, we need more workshops of conversation (English club) and we could use e-learning programs to practice grammar.

I, for one, will continue practicing, reading articles, comics, watching movies without subtitles or with these in English and going to bars with polyglot meetings.
