Changes to my study program

I have been three and a half years in my career (I am in four degree of psychology) and in this time I have seen that we need to do some changes, furthermore, I consider the faculty need to get some changes in several levels. 

In first place, we need to introduce changes to the curriculum. The basic cycle should be rethought; right now we have some problems, there are subjects who are very incomplete or much unstructured and there is no clarity about what contents are really important. Besides, there are subjects very essentials for the integral training and development of the psychologist that are not presents in this cycle and are just offer like elective subjects with a limit and not enough amounts of vacancies and in worst cases, these necessaries subjects are being eliminates because the faculty does not have "enough monetary funds". I consider the faculty (including all their social actors) should reconsider what kind of psychologist want to develop, what is the real profile that wants to training and what is the professional that the society really need, and this fact implicate think about how to do this.

Talking in the level of teaching methods, I also think that some professors should be worry about the learning of their students not just for pass topics with some grades, that why they are professors, right? Some pedagogic skills need to be trained.

For other side, it is important to say that is necessary work in the infrastructure, we need more adequate classrooms, more pc labs, more labs, more study rooms, more social spaces and we need a real casino.

Finally, I just am going to say that we need work in the problems of enmity between academics of the different currents, power conflicts are in the air.
